Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities FC have reportedly begun talks to sign former Black Stars midfielder Anthony Annan.
Several reports in the media indicate that the 35-year old midfielder has emerged as a transfer target for the Accra-based side who are augmenting their squad for the upcoming league season.
Anthony Annan currently plays for Finland side Inter Tuku and his contract with the club is set to expire in November this year.
The former Schalke 04 midfielder has capped fifteen matches for Inter Tuku in the Veikkausliiga in the ongoing campaign and has scored one goal.
Should the deal materialized, Anthony Annan will be giving commercial value to not only Legon Cities FC but the Ghana Premier League as well.
Meanwhile Legon Cities FC are close to announcing the signing of legendary Black Stars striker Asamoah Gyan before the transfer deadline day on October 30.
It is reported that the club will also announce the capture of former Asante Kotoko teenager Matthew Anim Cudjoe which is part of the Asamoah Gyan’s deal.
