Agyenim Boateng has been a target for the two Premier League clubs following his scintillating display for the division one outfit.
According to a deep throat close to the striker, Medeama Sporting Club have been chasing the services of the youngster since last season but failed to convince the Management of Nzema Kotoko, resulting to the delay to secure his services.
The failure on the part of Medeama Sporting Club has seen Karela United also bumping to the race of signing the youngster as the replacement for William Opoku Mensah who left the Crosby Awuah Memorial lads to United States football side, Swoop Park Rangers.
Boateng who has been an instrumental figure for the Ampain based club and a nightmare to many defenders, is also said to be on the wanted lists of clubs in Ivory Coast as well as Nigeria.
Kyfilla.com understands, there were scouts from both Medeama Sporting Club and Karela United to monitor the youngster during their clash against Vision FC on last Saturday in the NC Special Competition tier 2 at the Tarkwa NA Aboso Park.
His partnership with Akese Akese upfront has witnessed Nzema Kotoko securing a quarterfinals ticket in the NC Special Competition tier 2 after beating Vision FC 3:0 at the Tarkwa NA Aboso Park on last Saturday. The team will come face-to-face with Hearts of Lions for a semi-final berth in the on-going competition.
