President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt Okraku has said his administration is keen on improving the Ghana Premier League.
The Ghana Premier League just like other football related activities in the country have been suspended due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
The future of the league season in Ghana remains uncertain whiles many are calling for the truncation of the season, others want it to continue.

The Ghana FA came to with idea to play an autonomous league and therefore have formed a committee to come up with the modalities, processes and roadmap for the establishment of an autonomous Ghana Premier League.
Speaking on Germany-based Topical Radio, Kurt Okraku believes making the league autonomous is part of the ways to improve the Ghana top-flight Football.
“It is the target of the FA to improve our league and that is why we have decided to play an autonomous league. In this case, organizers of the league will have free hands to work”, Kurt Okraku told Germany-based radio station Topical Radio.
“Again, our decision to change the refereeing structure is a step in the right direction. We want to hunt for talented referees and make them better. So going forward, I think we are going to get a better league under my term”.
