Ghana Premier League giant, Asante Kotoko have parted ways with striker William Opoku Mensah.
Kotoko have parted ways with the former Karela United talisman after the expiration of his contract.
Opoku Mensah joined Asante Kotoko on a year deal prior to the start of the 2019/20 league season when he abrogated his contract with American side Swoop Park Rangers.
He capped eight matches for Asante Kotoko in the 2019/20 league season where he netted only two goals.
His contract elapsed last month but it is believed that the two parties failed to reach an agreement for another deal
Opoku Mensah played four matches in the 2020/21 league season without scoring a goal.
He has become the latest player to part ways with Asante Kotoko this season after Sulley Muniru.
