Ghana Premier League giant, Asante Kotoko have parted ways with striker William Opoku Mensah.
Kotoko have parted ways with the former Karela United talisman after the expiration of his contract.[ads2]
Opoku Mensah joined Asante Kotoko on a year deal prior to the start of the 2019/20 league season when he abrogated his contract with American side Swoop Park Rangers.
He capped eight matches for Asante Kotoko in the 2019/20 league season where he netted only two goals.[ads3]
His contract elapsed last month but it is believed that the two parties failed to reach an agreement for another deal
Opoku Mensah played four matches in the 2020/21 league season without scoring a goal.
He has become the latest player to part ways with Asante Kotoko this season after Sulley Muniru.[ads5]
