Zenith Bank Ghana Limited has donated $82,500 to the Youth and Sports Ministry as support to the national teams particularly the Black Stars for a successful AFCON tournament.
The company has made the donation following President Akufo-Addo’s appeal to cooperate Ghana to support the Black Stars to embark a favourably 2022 World Cup qualifiers and AFCON tournament next year.[ads2]
The management of Zenith Bank Ghana Limited, led by its Managing Director, Mr. Akindele Ogunranti presented the cheque to the Youth and Sport Ministry on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.
At a short ceremony to present a cheque the Youth and Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif, Mr. Ogunranti noted that the bank appreciates the role that sports play in the development of the country and took the opportunity to show solidarity and support to sports in Ghana.[ads5]
