Hasaacas Ladies coach, Yusif Basigi has been nominated in this year’s Exclusive Men of the Year Africa Awards (EMY Africa Awards) after incredible campaign with the team.[ads2]
Coach Basigi has been nominated in the man of the year sports category alongside three other Ghanaian sports personalities.
The Exclusive Men of the Year Africa Awards (EMY Africa Awards) is an award ceremony which was established in 2015 to honour and celebrate eminent men exclusively. The awards are presented annually and is usually occasioned with the period around Father’s Day.
Yusif Basigi who is a former Ghana women’s national U-20 coach will battle with Benjamin Azamati, Alexander Djiku and Faisal Abubakar for the enviable award.[ads3]
As one of West Africa’s biggest award events, EMY Africa Awards have honored many great personalities. Some of the previous winners include former President of Ghana, John Agyekum Kufuor, Tony Elumelo (Founder & CEO, United Bank of Africa), Togbe Afede XIV (President, African World Airlines), His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu (Chief Iman of Ghana), Sir Sam Jonah (CEO, Jonah Capital), Abedi Pele (Ghanaian football legend), Azumah Nelson (boxing legend), Freddy Meiwey (Ivorian music legend).[ads4]

This year’s will be the 7th edition of the awards since its inception and is scheduled to come off in October this year.
