Former Ghana U20 head coach Yaw Preko has reportedly rejected Hearts of Oak assistant coaching job.

According to reports, management of the Phobians contacted the 45-year old gaffer for the vacant job as they strengthen their technical bench for the ongoing league season.
Per the reports, Yaw Preko was contacted by the Hearts of Oak management for the vacant role on December 31, 2019 but he rejected the offer.
The reports further state that, current interim gaffer Edward Nii Odoom also tried to convince Yaw Preko but didn’t yield any result.

Currently Hearts of Oak are without an assistant coach after Edward Nii Odoom was elevated to the position of interim head coach following the sacking of Kim Grant.
The Phobians have gone two matches in the ongoing league season without scoring a goal and has no point after losing to Berekum Chelsea and Medeama Sporting Club.
