Aduana Stars striker, Yahaya Mohammed could miss the team’s Ghana Premier League opener against Hearts of Oak.
The Dormaa-based club will host Hearts of Oak in week one of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park and it seems like the experienced goal poacher will miss the titanic encounter.

According to the Public Relations Officer of Aduana Stars Evans Oppong, Yahaya Mohammed sustained a knee injury during their preseason game against Nkoranza Warriors and had to limp off in the first ten minutes of the match.

He was expected to recover as soon as possible for the Ghana Premier League opener against rejuvenated Hearts of Oak side but it seems that will be impossible.
“Yahaya Mohammed picked a knee injury in our game against Nkoranza Warriors. He was substituted in the first ten minutes, we thought he could make it for the Hearts of Oak game but that would be impossible”, Evans Oppong said in an interview available to Kyfilla.com.

“Our medical team has nformed us that Yahaya’s chances of returning for the Hearts of Oak game is only fifteen percent and it is only a miracle that will enable him to play against Heart in Dormaa”, he added.
