The Chairman of the Western Regional Football Association Simon Ehomah has sent his goodwill message to division one clubs in the region ahead of the start of the league season.

The division one league season officially start this weekend at the various league centres with Hasaacas hosting New Edubiase at the Sekondi Sports Stadium on Sunday.
A statement from the Western Region Football Association reads, “The Western Regional Football Association Chairman Mr. Simon Ehomah on behalf of the members of the Regional Association and the whole football fraternity of the region wishes all participating clubs from the Western Region in the National Division One League the very best of luck as the all important competition begins this weekend at various centres in zone two.
The Chairman is confident that one among the six clubs ; Skyy FC, Sekondi Hasaacas, Bibiani Gold Stars, SC Samartex, Nzema Kotoko and the adopted Proud United shall cling the ultimate slot to play in the subsequent Ghana Premier League at the end of the season.
The Regional Association subsequently wishes to assure all participating clubs, that we shall be readily available to provide every humanly possible support to ensure that their participation is void of frustration and difficulties.

We are by this also appealing to all and sundry to throw their support behind their respective clubs at their various venues to ensure that the love for the game is brought back.
There is no doubt that with the kind of preparations these teams have undertaken before the start of the season, surely one of these six clubs shall win the ultimate at the end of the season.
