The third Vice President of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), Mohammed Mahadi has expressed his dissatisfaction with works at the committee.
According to Mahadi, the Ghana Olympic Committee is underperforming and has not met the expectations which eluded him into contesting for the committee’s seat as the third vice president.[ads2]
In an interview with Rainbow Radio, Mohammed Mahadi said he can’t account or list the achievements of the committee in the year under retrospect, and questions about the achievements of the committee should be directed his boss, Ben Nunoo Mensah.
“To be honest with you, working at the GOC is becoming difficult and frustrating. The expectations I had in going into the election to be elected have not been met. I am disappointed because it is becoming difficult for me to talk and say anything we have achieved”, Mahadi said as scribed by Rainbow radio online.[ads3]
He believes the working standard at the Ghana Olympic Committee is below par and it will be better for the management to step in immediately and change the situation.
He recounted how he used his personal resources on the committee’s official assignment in Turkey.
“To be honest, this was not the GOC I was expecting to meet and this was not how I was expecting the GOC to be managed,” he added as quoted by Rainbow Radio Online.[ads5]
