Ghana striker William Opoku Mensah has denied reports linking him to Zambian giants Nkana FC.
This comes following reports in the local media stating that he has commenced talks with the Kitwe-based club with a deal set to be finalized.[ads2]
Reacting to this, the 26-year old has denied the reports, stressing that he has not talked to Nkana FC and the reports must be deemed as fictitious and a palpable false.
“It’s not true, I have not talked to anyone at Nkana”, he told Kyfilla.com.
William Opoku Mensah is currently in Ghana on vacation after a successful season in Rwanda with Mukura Victory.[ads3]
He was the team’s marksman after an explosive form in the Rwanda Premier League despite joining in the middle of the league season.
He managed to play nine matches for Mukura Victory, scored five goals with three assists and three most valuable player awards.[ads4]
Before joining Mukura Victory, Opoku Mensah had a short stint at Liberty Professionals after leaving Asante Kotoko.
