Elections for the Western Regional Football Association Executive Council Members have been held on Thursday, February 20, 2020.
The division two clubs, juvenile football clubs, the District Football Chairmen voted their members to the Executive Council.
There were no representatives for Women football, regional referees as well as the regional coaches but a new date will be set for elections on the aforesaid positions to make the list complete.
Three slots were demarcated for division two clubs with Jacob Wemegah, Bismark Owusu Mensah and Mr. Anthony Osei as their representatives on the Executive Council.
Mr. Pearce Pearson was voted as the rep for juvenile clubs with one remaining slot left .
Amenfi East FA Chairman Isaac Gyening Mensah has been voted as the rep for the District Football Associations but there was a tie between newly elected Shama FA Chairman George Kuntu Blankson and Amenfi West FA Chairman George Dadzie and a new date will be set for to decide who join Mr. Gyening Mensah on the Executive Council.
