Asante Kotoko narrowly defeated Ebusua Dwarfs in an outstanding match of the Ghana Premier League in Cape Coast on Wednesday afternoon.
It was the only goal from defender Christopher Nettey that gave Asante Kotoko the victory against Ebusua Dwarfs at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.[ads2]
The two clubs couldn’t score in the entire first forty-five minutes of the game despite creating some goal threatening opportunities.
Asante Kotoko returned from the tunnel with much eagerness, leading to Christopher Nettey’s goal in the 71st minute of the game.[ads3]
Christopher Nettey broke the virginity of the game by latching on Patrick Asmah’s cross to power a low header to give Asante Kotoko the full points against Ebusua Dwarfs.
The victory makes Asante Kotoko unbeaten at away so far in the Ghana Premier League this season after nine matches.[ads4]
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko will host Aduana Stars in week ten of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
