Hasaacas Ladies have been crowned champions of the maiden edition of the WAFU Zone B Cup in Abidjan on Thursday.
The Ghanaian side defeated tgeir counterpart from Nigeria 3:1 to lift the giant trophy at the French speaking country.[ads2]
Prior to the final game, Hasaacas Ladies had lost 2:1 to Rivers Angels in the opening game of the competition.
Veronica Appiah opened the floodgate for Hasaacas Ladies as early as the first minute of the crucial game.[ads3]
Rivers Angels were brought alive by Vivian Ikechukwu after nine minute before Perpetual Agyekum restored the lead for Hasaacas Ladies in the 41st minute from a superhuman free-kick.

Azumah Bugre scored the final goal for the Sekondi-based club in the 57th minute to give them the title.[ads4]
Hasaacas Ladies have booked a ticket to the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League to held in Egypt later this year.
The win means Hasaacas Ladies have won their third trophy of the season after lifting the Ghana Women’s Premier league and the Ghana FA Cup titles respectively.[ads5]
