Ghana Premier league outfit WAFA Sporting Club have announced the appointment of Spanish trainer Guillermo Hamdan Zaragoza as the new head coach
The former Real Madrid youth team coach has joined the Sogakope-based club ahead of the upcoming league season.[ads2]
A statement from WAFA announcing the appointment of the Spanish trainer reads, ” We are delighted to announce the appointment of Guillermo Hamdan Zaragoza 🇪🇸 as head coach of the First Team. Guille [pronounced GUI-YE] will be with us for the entire 2021/22 season. “
He has been in Ghana for the past week, training the Academy boys for the 2021/22 Ghana Premier league season.[ads3]
Zaragoza has replaced Prosper Narteh Ogum who left WAFA for Ghana Premier league powerhouse Asante Kotoko after guiding the team to third place on the league log.
He will be assisted by the experience Ibrahim Saddick who was also the assistant during Prosper Narteh’s time.
WAFA will face King Faisal in the first game of the campaign on October 31.[ads5]
