Aduana Stars maintained their unbeaten run at home with a narrow 1:0 victory over Asante Kotoko at the Nana Agyeman Badu II Park in Dormaa this afternoon.
Samuel Bioh netted the only goal in the fascinating encounter to secure all three points for the Ogya Boys.
Bioh netted the goal in the dying embers of the match with a wonderful strike in the penalty box of the Porcupine Warriors of which goalkeeper Kwame Baah failed to prevent the ball from entering the net.
Kotoko who prior to the game were the better away team in the ongoing league campaign, were hoping to secure their first victory in Dormaa but turned out to be a painful 1:0 defeat.
All eyes were on in-form goal poacher Yahaya Mohammed to do the magic for Aduana Stars after scoring ten goals in the league so far but a certain Samuel Bioh turned out to be the hero of the day with that last minute goal.
The two sides gave spectators a crunch and interesting game but Bioh’s goal separated the two clubs at the Nana Agyeman Badu II Park today.
The victory means Aduana Stars maintain their unbeaten run at home after eleven matches in the league season.
