The Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) has urged Ghanaians to disregard fake video alleging a discovery of thumb printed ballot papers in the Ashanti Region.
A video circulating on various social media platforms shows ballot papers thump printed in favor of the NPP flagbearer in the just ended elections President Akufo-Addo.[ads2]
But in a statement, the Electoral Commission has described the video as fake, urging Ghanaians to disregard it.
Part of the statement reads, “the commission’s ballot papers have serial security features, key among them being unique serial numbers, further, all the commission’s unique serial numbers begin with zero (0).”[ads3]
