The Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Alhaji Bawumia has given Hasaacas Ladies Gh¢50,000 for winning the WAFU Cup.
Hasaacas Ladies emerged winners of the maiden edition of the WAFU Cup held in Abidjan last month.[ads2]
The reigning Ghana Women’s Premier League champions defeated Rivers Angels 3:1 in the final to lift the giant trophy.
The club presented the trophy to the Vice President for his support towards the team on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. [ads3]
Dr. Bawumia as a sign of expressing his excitement for the club for winning the WAFU Cup has dashed the team Gh¢50,000.00 to be shared to the playing body, technical bench, others for the triumph.
It would be recalled that the Vice President, before Hasaacas Ladies could depart for Ivory Coast supported them with $10,000.
Hasaacas Ladies have also qualified for the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League to be held later this year in Egypt…[ads5]
