Fameye has been named the songwriter of the year at the 23rd edition of the prestigious Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
The first day of the awards was held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the Grand Arena of the International Conference Center in Accra.
The ‘Nothing I Get’ hit-maker won the award to dethrone Kofi Kinaata who has won the award on four consecutive years.
Fameye won the songwriter of the year award with his popular song ‘Praise’, defeating Kofi Kinaata’s ‘Thy Grace Pt 1’.
