President Akufo-Addo has announced that each member of the Ghana Olympic team will be receiving $5,000.
This is a reward the country is given to the athletes for an amazing performance at the just ended Olympic Games in Tokyo.[ads2]
This is when the contingent visited the President at the Jubilee House in Accra on Friday, August 20,2021.
Ghana for the very first time since 1992 returned home with a medal from the competition.[ads3]
The West African country won only one medal (bronze) in the just ended Olympic Games with boxer Samuel Takyi winning that medal after a splendid showdown in the boxing division of the Olympic Games.
Kyfilla.com understands, Samuel Takyi will be receiving $10,000, a car and additional $20,000 to be invested in his career development.
