The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has named Hearts of Oak Board Chairman Togbe Afede XIV to the Ghana Premier League autonomous committee.
According to the President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt Okraku, Togbe Afede XIV is among a five-member committee aimed at outlining policies for the formation of an autonomous Ghana Premier League.

Other members include Denali Seneya, CEO of Inter Allies and John Ansah of Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs.
The three were selected during a meeting between the Ghana FA President and representatives from the various eighteen Ghana Premier League clubs.

Kurt Okraku disclosed this on his Facebook page which reads, “Yesterday, I attended a meeting of all the 18 Premier league clubs where I affirmed the desire of the council to have an independently managed Ghana Premier league..

“It is a promise we made to our clubs, and it is a promise we intend to fulfill. Happily, the meeting also decided and choose 3 of our own members, namely Togbe Afede XIV Board Chairman of Hearts of Oak, Brother Denali Seneya, CEO of Inter Allies and Brother John Ansah of Cape Coast Dwarfs to serve on our proposed 5 man team to work on the modalities for an independently managed GPL. They will be joined by a yet to be named 2 Reps from the FA..i really wish the team well.”
