Former Hearts of Oak skipper Thomas Abbey has list out his best coaches that he has worked with in his football career.
Abbey who came to the limelight following his impressive form with Hearts of Oak has named Mohammed Polo, David Duncan, Frank Nuttal and Shaibu Tanko as the coaches that he felt comfortable working under them.

“I have worked with a lot of coaches from the junior to the Premier League level.”
“The coaches I felt extremely comfortable working with at the Premier League include David Duncan, Mohammed Polo, Frank Nutal and Shaibu Tanko.”

“They really inspired me during my stay at Hearts of Oak and it has helped me a great deal up until this stage.”Abbey told Kumasi based Akoma FM.

The 26-year old was a coy figure at Hearts of Oak, scoring 13 goals in 28 appearances during the 2017/2018 season.
He joined the Phobians from Windy Professionals where he spent 7 years before joining Egyptian side Ismaily on a two-year deal in 2018.

He terminated his contract with Ismaily and later joined Malaysia Super League outfit PKNP FC in 2019.
Abbey is now a free agent after spell with PKNP FC.
He was part of the Black Stars ‘B’ squad that won the WAFU 2017 in Ghana under the tutelage of coach Maxwell Konadu.
