Brighton and Hove Albion defender Tariq Lamptey has reportedly completed his nationality switch from England to Ghana.
The 21-year old has been in Ghana for the past few days for holidays, where he seized the opportunity to undertook talks with the Ghana Football Association over his nationality switch.
Lamptey is said to have held a fruitful talks with the Ghana Football Association, making him available for the Black Stars in next call-up.
The enterprising right-back has been spectacular for Brighton and Hove Albion for the past two seasons in the English Premier League but snubbed several times from the English senior national team, hence the eagerness to play for Ghana at the international level.
Lamptey was in the stands cheering the Black Stars on during the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium last Wednesday.
