The Western and Western North Regional branch of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) has condemned the police officer who assaulted Atinka Media Village sports journalist, Solomon Amankwah.
As reported by Kyfilla.com, Lance Corporal Prince Mensah of the Western Regional CID Operations and Intelligence Unit assaulted Solomon Amankwah of Ahoto FM, a subsidiary of Atinka Media Village in the Western Region.[ads2]

Solomon Amankwah had parked his car at the premises of the Sekondi Police Station but unfortunately forgot his ignition key inside the car which was locked.
In the process of opening the door with a metal, Lance Corporal Prince Mensah appeared and started throwing questions at the sports journalist.[ads3]
Lance Corporal Prince Mensah allegedly assaulted the defenceless Solomon Amankwah on a suspicion of being a theft.
SWAG, in a statement has condemned the actions of the Lance Corporal Prince Mensah, describing it as unprofessional.
