Ghana legend, Sulley Muntari is reportedly ready to lower his demands and play for South African giant Kaizer Chiefs.
According to South Africa’s KickOff, the former Inter Milan midfielder has made it more tempting for Kaizer Chiefs to consider signing him next season.
Muntari who was also linked with a move to Maritzburg United but could not agree terms on his salary, has previously expressed his interest in playing for Kaizer Chiefs before retiring from football.[ads1]
Kickoff reveals that, the UEFA Champions League winner is ready to sacrifice for a more reasonable salary package just to play for the Amakoshi.
“Muntari is still keen to play in the PSL. He has always had a desire to play for Kaizer Chiefs. There has been contact [with Chiefs] but nothing formal.”
Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs will be free from registering new players in the next transfer window when they have served their FIFA transfer ban.
