Mr Acquah disclosed that the authority spend close to Gh¢20,000 whenever preparing the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for matches and fans must learn to be discipline whenever at the washrooms.
“One of the challenges we have which is very difficult to control is the washrooms. When they (football fans) come, they should take it as their home and help us sanitize the place.[ads4]
“Someone will come to free himself, when they go to the washrooms there will be T.roll available but they will put it in their pockets and leave. It’s amazing, when you say this people will be laughing but it’s the reality. We usually put a new T.roll after when almost 50 people have used the washrooms. We had to stop because we realized that when 5 to 10 people used the washrooms, there will be no T.roll because someone among them will steal it “, Mr Acquah said in an interview on Kessben FM.
He however stated that the Baba Yara Sports Stadium is in good shape to host matches after the renovation exercise.
He was confident that the stadium will be able to host Asante Kotoko CAF Champions League second leg game against Burkinabe outfit RC Kadiogo on Sunday.[ads5]
