Ghanaian musician, Stonebwoy has released his much-awaited album titled 5th Dimension.
The project which was released via Def Jam Africa, comprised of seventeen songs and was officially released on Friday, April 28, 2023.
This becomes the BET award winner’s fifth album after Grade 1”, “Necessary Evil”, the billboard-rated “Epistles of Mama” and 2020’s Reggae Ville album of the year, “Anloga Junction”.
With his 5th Dimension album, Stonebwoy scripted and recorded it during exclusive sessions across Europe, America and Africa, where he featured top African artists like Davido, Oxlade and Tiwa Savage all from Nigeria alongside Beninese legend Angélique Kidjo and South African amapiano progenitor DJ Maphorisa.
Other artists in which Stonebwoy collaborated include Shaggy (Jamaica), Dexta Daps (Jamaica) and Mereba (US) and Jaz Karis (UK).
And according to the BHIM Nation capo, this is the best album for Ghanaians.
“The work just began,” the musician tweeted upon the release of the project, adding that he has “delivered the best album from Ghana.”
Meanwhile, his competitor Shatta Wale has warned his followers not to speak ill of Stonebwoy’s album following its release.
According to Shatta Wale, he will block any of his fans who will speak ill of or even compare Stonebwoy’s album to his Maali album.
“No SM (Shatta Movement) fan should trash Stonebwoy’s album”, Shatta Wale tweeted.
“If his fans don’t have sense to stop the comparison, leave them. Any trash tweet from an SM fan to Stonebwoy’s album will chop block. Forget that’s waste of time”, he added.
