Berekum Chelsea striker Stephen Amankona is set to undergo Asante Kotoko medicals in the next coming days, according to media reports.
This comes following an agreement between Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea over the signing of the highly-rated goalscorer.[ads2]
Amankona has been a target for Kotoko since the commencement of the ongoing transfer window after impressive form last season.

It is believed Kotoko have agreed an onward transfer percentage of fifteen percent with Chelsea and the attacker is set to undergo medicals at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in the next coming days.[ads3]
Amankona was phenomenal for Berekum Chelsea last season which courted interest from Medeama Sporting Club and AshantiGold Sporting Club but will be joining Kotoko barring any last-minute change.
He was sensational and undoubtedly one of the best players in the league having scored 15 goals in all competitions in the 2020-21 season coupled with 7 assists, alongside three man-of-the-match awards.[ads4]
