Southampton defender Salisu Mohammed has played his first game for Ghana in a pre-world cup friendly against Brazil on Friday evening.[ads2]
Brazil hammered Ghana 3-0 at the Stade Oceane in Le Havre in France with Tottenham forward Richarlison bagging a brace while Marquinhos netted the other goal for the South American country.
Salisu was second half substitute as he replaced Cremonese winger Felix Afena-Gyan in tactical substitution by coach Otto Addo.[ads3]
The 23-year old was exceptional by strengthening Ghana defence alongside Alexander Djiku and Daniel Amartey.
Meanwhile, Ghana will face Nicaragua at the Estadio Francisco Artes Carrasco in Spain on September 27, 2022.
The two games is to prepare Ghana for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar scheduled for November this year.[ads4]
