Ghanaian dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known in showbiz as Shatta Wale will reappear in court on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
Shatta Wale was remanded alongside three other accomplices by an Accra Circuit Court on Thursday, October 21, 2021 for fabricating a story that he had been shot.[ads2]
The four were put in remand for one week after which the Accra Circuit Court granted Shatta Wale a self-recognizance bail, while the other three were granted bail to the tune of GH¢100,000 each on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.
Shatta Wale is expected to reappear in court on Tuesday alongside colleague Samuel Frimpong popularly known as Medikal.[ads3]
Medikal was arrested for brandishing of a gun in a video on social media.
The multiple award-winning rapper was remanded into prison custody by a circuit court judge in Accra for five days on October 22, 2021.[ads4]
He was later granted bail to the tune of GH¢100,000 with one surety.
Medikal pleaded not guilty of a charge of displaying of arms and ammunition in his first court appearance.[ads5]
