Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu has become the second gaffer in the history of the club to win the FA Cup on a second consecutive time.
This was after his side defeated Bechem United in the finals of the competition at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday, June 26, 2022.
The Phobians were able to defeat Bechem United 2:1 in Kumasi with Caleb Amankwah and Daniel Afriyie Barnieh as the scorers while Emmanuel Avornyo had the consolation for the Hunters.
Boadu who won the FA Cup trophy last season, has successfully defended the title and becomes the second tactician in the history of the club to win it back-to-back.
It was the late Cecil Jones Attaquafio who was the first coach in the history of the club to achieve that record after winning the FA Cup titles in 1999 and 2000.
Meanwhile, the victory today means Hearts of Oak have won the FA Cup title for the 12th time and this become the most successful club in the history of the competition…
