Tamale City FC striker Sampson Eduku is in a pool of offers following his splendid form for the club this season.
The former Karela United attacker has been heavily linked to Hearts of Oak, Great Olympics and host of other clubs home and abroad.
But speaking to Kyfilla.com, Eduku who netted twice against Hearts of Oak in week 28 of the Ghana Premier league on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 revealed that he has received offers from some clubs but will make a decision at the end of the league season.
According to Eduku, his focus is to help Tamale City FC to escape relegation before deciding on his future.
“My focus is to ensure Tamale City escape relegation even though I have received offers. I will make a decision at the end of the league season”, he said.
After scoring twice against Hearts of Oak, Eduku’s tally has increased to 12 goals after 28 league matches this season.
He is currently a goal away from Wontah Hafiz Konkoni of Bechem United who is currently leading the goal-king chart.
Asked whether he want to win the goal king, Sampson Eduku who has formerly played for Sekondi Hasaacas, Karela United and Elmina Sharks said “my focus is not on the goal king. I want to put smiles on the faces of our supporters by helping Tamale City to escape relegation, but I will grab it when the opportunity presents itself.
“We have been able to move away from the relegation zone after beating Hearts of Oak, and we will keep fighting till the last game. I know we will stay in the league”, he added..
Tamale City FC currently sit 13th on the Ghana Premier league log with 35 points after 28 matches and will travel to Kumasi to face Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, April 30, 2023.
