Division One League outfit, Young Apostles have appointed former Ghana U-17 skipper Sabastien Barnes as the Technical Director.
Barnes who holds UEFA B coaching certificate will also serve as the club’s European Liaison officer.[ads2]
The former Mainz O4 player, after his appointment, said, “It will be my pleasure to serve as a Technical Director to assist the club move forward in improving the qualities of the club and the quality of the players,” the former Mainz 04 player said.
Sabastien Barnes was coaching the U15 side of SC Leverkusen, where he also acts as sports director.[ads3]
He led the Black Starlets to win the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Italy before moving to Germany.
In Germany, Barnes played for Bayer Leverkusen between 1991 to 1997.[ads5]
