Real Tamale United talisman, David Abagna has reportedly been named in the Black Stars provisional squad for the AFCON 2021.
Abagna is reported to have been the few locally-based players part of the Ghana squad for pre-AFCON preparations.
Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac is said to have presented a 26-man squad to the Ghana Football Association for official announcement.[ads2]
The Ghana FA is expected to release the squad on Monday, December 20, 2021 with the RTU starman included.
David Abagna has been exceptional this season for the Ghana Premier League newbies, scoring eight goals with an assist after nine matches.
Meanwhile, Ghana as part of preparations for the prestigious tournament, will face Algeria in 2021 pre-AFCON friendly on January 5, 2021 in Qatar.[ads3]
Usual faces of Ayew, Mubarak Wakaso, Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew and Daniel Amartey tare expected to be part of the squad.
Ghana will open camp in Doha, Qatar on December 23. While in the Asian country, they will play three preparatory games.

Ghana has been pitched in a group with Morocco, Gabon and Comoros.
