Ghanaian champions, Asante Kotoko are reportedly on the verge of securing a sponsorship deal with telecommunication giants Vodafone.[ads2]
Reports indicate that Vodafone will become the new headline sponsor of Asante Kotoko should negotiations end in success.
The deal could be announced after Asante Kotoko game against RC Kadiogo in the CAF Champions League preliminary round.[ads3]

Vodafone will not be the first telecommunication company to associate itself with Asante Kotoko as the club have had deals with MTN as headline sponsor before.

Should an agreement be reached, Vodafone will become the latest brand to associate itself with Asante Kotoko under the Nana Yaw Amponsah administration after GOIL, Ceek, Ticketlake, StarLife Assurance, and Star Assurance, Adonko Next Level Energy Drink, VEO, InStat Sport, Errea, Cedar Point Pharmacy.[ads4]
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko will travel to play Burkinabe outfit RC Kadiogo in the first leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round on Monday, September 12, 2022 before the return fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.[ads5]
