Asante Kotoko have condemned the shooting incident after their 0:1 defeat to Berekum Chelsea at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

A supporter of the club with the name Augustine Opoku who happens to be a commercial vehicle driver was shot through the head by a policeman after the game.

Opoku was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi and currently responding to treatment.

In a release signed by the Public Relations Officer of the club Kennedy Boakye Ansah, Kotoko condemned the unfortunate incident and will team up with the various stakeholders during investigations.
