President Akufo-Addo has made a donation of Gh¢1million to reigning Ghana Premier League champions, Hearts of Oak.
The President donated to the Ghana Premier League powerhouse when they paid a courtesy call at the presidency to present their trophies to the first gentleman of the land in Accra.[ads2]
The Phobians presented to President Akufo-Addo and the Youth and Sports Minister, Mustapha Ussif their last season’s Ghana Premier League and Ghana FA Cup titles on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.
The donation is to support Hearts of Oak preparations in the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup campaign.[ads3]
The Rainbow giant will begin the CAF Confederation Cup campaign against Algerian outfit JS Soura in the playoff round at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, November 28, 2021 before the returning fixture in the North African country.[ads5]
