Inter Allies defender Hashmin Musah is expected to be invited by the police to assist investigations into alleged match-fixing scandal between his club and Ashantigold SC.
Ashantigold hammered Inter Allies 7:0 in last match of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier league season held at the Lenclay Sports Stadium in Obuasi last weekend.[ads2]
Musah deliberately scored two own goals to give Ashantigold 7:1 victory and aftermath of the game comes with whole lot of issues.
The defender after the game stated that he deliberately scored the two own goals to spoil a huge number of bets placed on the game.[ads3]
Though many have heralded him for not condoning match fixing, others have criticised him for deliberately scoring the two own goals.
And reports in the media reveal that, Hashmin Musah will be invited by police to assist investigations into the game to bring the perpetrators to book.
Even though the police will be starting investigation soon, the two clubs have denied any wrongdoings.[ads5]
