The Asankragwa Division of the Ghana Police on August 31, 2020, gunned down two armed robbers who went on robbery at Adowahu, a suburb in the Amenfi West Municipality.
According to reports, the robbers were after a Chinese man whom they believe was having samples that gold are derived from popularly known as BLACK.

The Police upon tip-off rushed to the place but the robbers after noticing the arrival of the police started firing shots at the police but they [police] also fired back at the robbers, leaving two out of the four dead.
One of the police whose name has been withheld was injured and currently responding to treatment at the Asankragwa Roman Catholic Hospital.

Crime Officer, Henry Agbeve ppconfirmed the incident and said the Police is investigating and will be out with the full report about the issue as soon as possible.
