Asante Kotoko National Circles Council have donated health items worth fifty thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢50,000) to the club.

The donation from the club’s supporters firm is to help the players, technical team and the management protect themselves from the Coronavirus pandemic.

The supporters group donated 100 bottles of hand sanitizers, 100 bottles of liquid soaps, 3000 boxes of tissue papers to the club.
Though football activities in the country has been out on hold due to the Coronavirus outbreak with the Kotoko players on break, the supporters group also donated a cash of ten thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢10,000) to the club as well.

The donation was presented to the club by the Chairman of the National Circles Council Christopher Damenya and the Executive members of the supporters union.
General Manager of Asante Kotoko Nana Akwasi Gyambibi received the donation on behalf of the team and thanked the supporters for the kind gesture.
Coronavirus cases in Ghana
President Akufo-Addo announced in a Nationwide broadcast on Thursday evening that so far Ghana has recorded 378 cases of the pandemic with 6 deaths.
He indicated that 4 people have recovered with 2 in critical condition.

“As I said, we now have, in total, three hundred and seventy-eight (378) confirmed cases of infections, with six (6) deaths, four (4) recoveries and the remaining three hundred and seventy (370) are mild cases, who are in isolation, and are either being managed at home or at treatment centres”, President Akufo-Addo said in his address on Thursday.
Globally, 1,617,204 cases have been confirmed with 364,686 recoveries whilst 97,039 have died.
