Ghana Premier League outfit Aduana Stars have reappointed Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin as the new head coach.
The 63-year old has rejoined the Dormaa based club ahead of the 2022/23 league season after fruitful negotiations.
The club’s statement reads, “We are happy to announce Samuel “Paa Kwesi” Fabin as our new Head Coach. Welcome back to Dormaa Ahenkro.*
Fabin was first appointed Aduana Stars gaffer in February, 2020 and took charge of the club in the 2019-2020 league season. When he took charge the team was in 2nd place, helped move the team to 1st place before the league was put on hold abruptly due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[ads4]
The league was later suspended and subsequently cancelled with no team winning the title. Fabin was maintained ahead of the 2020–2021 season which was to be placed amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
He left Aduana Stars in February, 2021 after his contract with the team elapsed.
Fabin has formerly handled Asante Kotoko, Berekum Arsenal, Hearts of Lions, Hearts of Oak, Wassaman United, Inter Allies.
On the international level, Paa Kwesi Fabin has served as the Ghana U17, Uganda U17 and Ghana U23 head coach.
