The President of King Faisal FC, Alhaji Grusah has said the club’s target this season is to win the Ghana Premier League.
This comes following the club’s famous victory over Aduana Stars in matchday two of the Ghana Premier League in Dormaa.
King Faisal shockingly defeated Aduana Stars 3:1 last Sunday to continue their unbeaten run in the league.[ads2]
Following the club’s spectacular showdown last Sunday, Alhaji Grusah believes his outfit can win the league should they continue their incredible performance.
“Winning against Aduana Stars was a great feeling, I have not had a sleep since yesterday. Going into the game, there was a believe that we can win but we never expected such margin of goals”, he told Kumasi-based Ashh FM.[ads3]
Alhaji Grusah continued that, “should we continue same performance, I think we will achieve our target of winning the league this season.”[ads4]
Asked whether King Faisal will go in for an expatriate coach to takeover the team, Alhaji Grusah said, ” It’s not true King Faisal is going in for foreign trainer. Some people called me that they want to change the team to an academy but I told them coach Nurudeen Amadu is still my coach, I will never changed him as the head coach.”
King Faisal currently boast of six points after two matches in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.[ads5]
