Family of late Asante Kotoko and Black Stars striker Opoku Afriyie have announced date for the one week celebration of their beloved.
The one week celebration will he held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Kotei Twumduase.

Opoku Afriyie also known as Bayie died in March this year at the age of 75.
Opoku Afriyie, a former Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak and Black Stars forward was a member of Ghana’s 1978 and 1982 Africa Cup of Nations winning squads.

Opoku Afriyie was the top scorer in the Ghana league in 1979 and 1981.
After retiring from playing football, Opoku took up roles as Team Manager and Welfare Officer of the Black Stars and Asante Kotoko respectively.
