Moldova Premier League giants FC Sheriff Tiraspol have announced the capturing of Ghanaian midfielder Mudasiru Salifu.
The 25-year old defensive midfielder has joined the Tiraspol-based club from Ghana Premier League heavyweight Asante Kotoko after passing a mandatory medicals on Monday, July 18, 2022.
Salifu has signed for FC Sheriff Tiraspol after weeks of undergoing trials at the club alongside Richard Boadu and Andrews Appau.
He was spectacular for Asante Kotoko in the just ended league season, scoring a goal in 21 league matches with one assist to his credit.
Mudasiru Salifu was one of the best performing defensive midfielders in the Ghana Premier League this season where many called for his inclusion to the Black Stars squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
His exceptional performance for Asante Kotoko culminated to the team winning the Ghana Premier League this season.
Mudasiru Salifu has joined former Kotoko teammates and compatriot Razak Abalora at FC Sheriff Tiraspol.
