Ghana Premier league powerhouse, Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of Cameroonian forward Mfegue Georges Omgba.
The 24-year old has joined the Porcupine Warriors on a three-year deal ahead of the upcoming league season.[ads2]
A statement from Kotoko reads, “The Cameroonian🇨🇲 goal poacher 🎯joins us from Avion Academy on a three-year deal.”
Kotoko have signed Mfegue after meeting the release clause of the Avion Academy’s skipper who has been a star man for the club and lead scorer in the past three seasons.[ads3]
The forward who ended last season as the deputy top scorer in the Cameroon league one Championship with ten goals will continue his career with the Ghana Premier league record holders.
Mfegue masterminded Avion’s promotion to the top-flight in 2018 as one of the club’s main attacking options. Since reaching the big time he has top scored in all three campaigns.
He becomes Asante Kotoko latest signing in the ongoing transfer window in Ghana after compatriot Mbella Etouga, Joseph Amoah, Dickson Afoakwa, Richmond Lamptey, Maxwell Agyemang, Collins Opoku, Isaac Oppong, Samuel Appiah, Richard Boadu, Samuel Boateng, Augustine Agyapong and Sheriff Mohammed.[ads5]
