Cameroon first-choice goalkeeper, Andre Onana has been sacked from the team’s camp in the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar for gross indiscipline.
This was confirmed by a statement from the Cameroonian Football Federation which indicate that the talented goalkeeper has been suspended from the national team temporarily.
The Inter Milan netminder was in posts when Cameroon was beaten by Switzerland in the first game of the World Cup last week.
He was dropped from the team’s match day squad for the second group stage fixture against Serbia this morning of which the game ended 3:3.
Cameroon currently sit third in their group with just a point after two matches and will have to beat Brazil in the last group game before qualifying for the knockout stage of the competition.
