The dissolving of the management came with the current administration headed by former Ghana FA Presidential aspirant Nana Yaw Amponsah.
And as a player who played under the administration previous administration through to the begining of the Nana Yaw Amponsah-led management team, Sam Adams believed Nana Gyambibi Coker was doing great as the then General Manager of Kotoko and should have been given the nod to continue.[ads3]
According to the 31-year old winger, Nana Coker has a good eye for scouting players and was running the affairs of the club on a good note until the management team was dissolved by the life patron of Kotoko, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
“I saw what he [Nana Coker] did at Kotoko, he brought me to the club and I know he has a good eye for scouting players as well, so he should have been given the opportunity to continue working for the club, he was the right person”, Adams said in an interview on Kumasi-based Pure FM.[ads5]
