Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Michael Akuffu has described Medeama SC President Moses Armah Parker as a man with good heart for footballers.
Akuffu was disclosing the affection the astute businessman showed him and other two players during a meeting in Accra somewhere in 2011.

Akuffu revealed that before signing for Asante Kotoko in 2011, Moses Armah Parker invited him and two players [ Awal Mohammed and Yaw Frimpong] to discuss a possible transfer to Medeama SC.
He explained that, hours before signing for Kotoko, Moses Parker had a meeting with them over a possible transfer to Medeama but they refused since they were much interested in joining Kotoko.

According to Akuffu, Moses Parker was willing to offer them any amount and other luxurious packages but they refused and went ahead to sign for Kotoko.
Though they refused to sign for Medeama, Akuffu with smiles stated that Moses Parker treated them very well.

“Hours before the Kotoko deal, Moses Parker had a meeting with Awal Mohammed, Yaw Frimpong and myself at a big restaurant in Osu in Accra to convince us to sign for Medeama SC but we refused”, Akuffu told Angel FM in Kumasi.

“He showed us great affection, gave us a wonderful treat. We were there with him when he gave Larbi Koomson a brand new car because at that time Larbi was joining Medeama. May God bless him [Moses Parker] because he has a good heart for footballers”, Akuffu added.
