Board member of Bis Paradise FC, Michael Quarshie has been elected the chairman of the Effia/Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly Football Association in the Western Region.
The astute football administrator cum businessman who has contributing immensely to juvenile football in the Western Region went unopposed during the elections on Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. Quarshie as affectionately called in the football circles, amassed seven out of a total of seven votes casted by the delegates during the elections.

Speaking after the elections, Michael Quarshie stated emphatically that, he will make sure juvenile football in the assembly is improved during his tenure as the Football Association’s Chairman.
He added that he ensure that his district will massively contribute to the Western Regiona Football Association’s aim of producing players to the national teams as it was done in the past producing the likes of Emmanuel Quarshie, Kofi Abbrey and host of others.
