Ghanaian artist, Samuel Adu Frimpong popularly known as Medikal has been arrested by the police for brandishing a gun in a video on social media.
The “Omo Ada” hit-maker was with his wife, Fella Makafui, at the Accra Regional Police Command charge office.
This was after he was dragged to the station by police and is currently in police custody.[ads2]
One of the lawyers who represented Shatta Wale, Jerry Avenogbor, was spotted at the police command but it is not known whether he is going to represent Medikal in this case.
This comes few hours after an Accra Circuit Court remanded dancehall star Shatta Wale and three others for a period of one week over fake shooting incident.

They are facing charges of publication of false news and causing fear and panic.
Shatta Wale has already spent two nights in police custody after his arrest on Tuesday.
Before his arrest, two persons in the camp of the musician identified as Kojo Owusu Koranteng, known as Nana Dope and Eric Venator, alias Gangee, were arrested for allegedly spreading false information with the intention to cause fear and panic.
The award-winning artist made the trends after news of him being shot by unknown gunmen emerged on Monday, October 18, 201.
It was his personal assistant, Nana Dope who supposedly broke the news of Shatta Wale shot by gunmen whilst driving.
Nana Dope even went ahead to state that his boss has been admitted at an emergency ward of a private hospital in Accra.[ads4]
